So funny during the 4th of July holiday, all food needs to be red, white and blue! Jumping on the bandwagon, I had to create a patriotic popsicle and you know I had to make it healthy. To make things less complicated, you can buy all of the ingredients and recreate these frozen beauties in minutes. If you can wait for them to freeze, I know the flavors will make your tastebuds happy. My friends at Liveglean.com sent me a bag of beet powder and I thought, what an incredible way to sneak some veggies into a sweet treat.

Pomagranate juice contains more than 100 phytochemicals. It may help with immune system support and cancer prevention. Pomegranate seeds have powerful antioxidants, that can remove free radicals to protect cells from damage and most importantly, remove inflammation.

Beets are full of essential B vitamins, iron, manganese, copper, magnesium and potassium. Not only do they have a beautiful ruby color, but are a goldmine of health boosting properties you may not find anywhere else. They are amazing at supporting the liver, helping your brain to work better, and can help to fight chronic disease.

Lastly, Kombucha contains probiotics for gut health. This fermented tea is great for detoxification, improved digestion, immune system stimulation and cholesterol reduction to name a few benefits.

All of these ingredients are a powerhouses for your health and so much fun to enjoy this holiday week! Have fun making and even more fun enjoying these healthy popsicles.
